Sample Post: After my little card game with Kate, I rested the deck of cards onto the coffee table. I stared at them for a brief second before looking back over at Kate. I gave her a small smile, she looked stunning in her white dress but then again I always thought she looked stunning. She could always take my breath away and I was glad that she talked me into coming down to the island. At first I was reluctant, I didn't want to come down here. Not with her. It wasn't that I was ashamed of it but the place did hold very private memories for me. Some good, some bad. It wasn't an easy piece of paradise to own. It was drenched in it's fair share of blood, just like everything else that business touched. It touched this place as well, leaving it's mark on it, staining it. It looked beautiful on the outside but it's price..I knew it's real cost

If these walls could talk, I'm sure they would say the story of my breakdowns. They saw them from start to finish. This was the place I ran too when nobody could see me break down. I also took many women here, but not Kate. It held many memories of Brenda and Carly here but that didn't mean me and Kate couldn't make our own memories here. I wanted that. I wanted to mark this place with Kate. She was now who I was with, who I planned on marrying but that didn't mean I wanted to erase everything else I shared with this island. I knew that wasn't a possibility

I came out of my thoughts, blinking a couple of times before running my hands along my slacks before getting up from the sofa. "I need a drink" I said to her, making my way over to the water pitcher that was resting on the table to the side. I poured myself a glass, silently wishing that it was scotch instead of water. I poured two glasses of water before making my way back over toward her. I rested them both on the counter top before holding out her glass toward her. "Incase your thirsty" I said with a smile as I leaned forward, my lips brushing againsts hers gently
